What this site does, what nobody has tested yet, and how to tell us when something blocks you.

How the pages are built.
We wrote every page by hand in plain HTML. Headings run in order, and a list is a real list. Every form label points at its own field. Every image on the site carries a text alternative.
Each page opens with a link that jumps straight past the header to the content.
Keyboard and focus.
You can reach every link, button and form field with the Tab key. The menu on a narrow screen is a checkbox and a label rather than a script, so it opens from the keyboard even when scripts fail.
Focus is a two-pixel olive outline, set three pixels clear of whatever holds it. We never remove that outline.
Color and contrast.
We measured every text color against the background it sits on. WCAG AA asks for 4.5 to 1 on body copy. AAA asks for 7 to 1, and 7 to 1 is the target here.
Body text on the cream page measures 15.7 to 1. Cream text on the dark green bands measures 9.8 to 1. Quiet grey text measures 7.5 to 1, and the small olive labels measure 7 to 1.
One color misses the higher target. The pale olive labels on the dark green bands measure 5.8 to 1, which clears AA and falls short of AAA.
The hairline rules and the accent inside the logo are decoration, so no contrast threshold applies to them.
Movement.
One olive hairline draws itself in at the top of each section. Nothing else on the site animates.
The homepage carries a five-second film behind the headline, and that film is muted, plays once and never loops.
If your system asks for reduced motion, the film never loads and every transition switches off.
With scripts turned off.
Turn JavaScript off and the whole site still works. Every word, every link and every page stays reachable. The contact form becomes one page instead of two, and the Send button still sends it.
An automated gate checks that on every build, so a future edit cannot quietly break it.
Nothing loads from anyone else.
This site fetches nothing from another company. No web font service, no map, no tag manager, no chat widget, no advertising pixel. Everything a page needs comes from our own server.
That keeps the page fast on a weak connection, and it keeps an outside script from breaking a screen reader on our behalf.
What we have not done.
No outside auditor has reviewed this site, and we have run no formal audit ourselves. We claim no conformance level, because no audit stands behind one.
We have also not tested the site with JAWS, NVDA or VoiceOver on real hardware. So read everything above as a description of the build, not a conformance claim.
Tell us when something blocks you.
Write to info@bellalawpllc.com or call 832 674 0659. A person answers on weekdays between nine and six Eastern.
Name the page and say what happened. We will fix it, or send you the same material in a form you can use.
